We would like to introduce our traceability system for products and parts in the assembly process. We had already implemented a traceability system, but the effort required by operators to read barcodes using handheld readers and the potential for human error were problematic. In this system, all equipment, products, and parts are interconnected, allowing for automatic reading of product and part barcodes without human intervention, and recording of traceability information (such as reading date and time, ID, etc.). Since it is linked with the equipment, it is possible to notify alarms for mistakes in assembly procedures and prevent defective products from flowing into subsequent processes.
